Mclean Heights falls under the jurisdiction of the Yonkers Public Schools district. YPS consists of 40 elementary, middle, and high schools and provides quality education to approximately 27,010 students.

Public School 13 is a public magnet school run through Yonkers Public Schools. This fantastic elementary school is made up of over 640 students in pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.

Yonkers Middle School has consistently grown over the last decade. In the last five years alone, the population has grown by 24 percent to a total of 605 students. The students of Yonkers Middle School are in the 6th to 8th grades.

Yonkers High School is one of the top-ranking schools in the state. Their overall test scores put them in the top 10 percent of all the schools in New York. This high-achieving secondary school is home to approximately 1,215 students in the 9th to 12th grades.
